I honestly don't see anything wrong with watching a litle tv once in a while, but if I had to pick something about it I would say that the worst thing about it is watching too much. Sure TV is fun and entertaining but it's not the freaking devil. It can take up alot of your time though. That's why you set a schedule or something for how much TV you watch. The only ways that TV and the internet can effect in a negative way would have to be pornography or well I guess thats it. I don't really get offended by what happens on TV, its not like the people talking on it are speaking directly to me.
If people were to take a look at how much time I spend on the TV/internet and how much time I spend praying to God it would look like about 10:1. (10 being the TV/internet, and 1 being God.) Go ahead and make some comment about how I'm a terrible person and I don't believe in God and everything I do is controlled by the devil. Because that sure seems like the christian way to get someone to believe in God, "Your a terrible person and I'm gonna make you feel even worse by telling you that you're gonna burn for eternity when you die." Said the high and mighty christian.
David, I'm sorry there are christians like that. A true Christian is supposed to love on you and remind you that God loves you no matter what you've done in your life, and He wants you to accept Him into your heart so that you don't have to suffer for all eternity.
