Now I know this is a little late but Mr. Mendenhall has been gracious to let me redeem myself.
The video we watched was all about this guy named John Ferber who is extremely rich and has pretty much all he wants (accessories wise.) Anyway's this show called The Secret Millionaire decides to send him down too Skid Row to experience what living on nothing but about 40 dollars a week is like. For those of you don't know, Skid Row is in California and pretty much everyone there is homeless. NO JOKE.
During the movie when John first got there you could tell that he was pretty nervous and scared. I mean just imagine that you have had all you want for most of you're life and then you have to give it up and live where pretty much everybody is homeless. That would be a major eye opener. And it was for John! He ended up giving alot of his money away at the end of the show too local charities who really show that God cares about everyone. I can tell that John really was a changed man after his whole experience, I just hope he stays that way.
